ZIAH MCKINNEY
INSTRUCTOR

Ziah McKinney

Ziah McKinney has been studying Bellydance, Rajasthani Dance, plus various indigenous community dances from around the world, for 30+ years as physical therapy to support her body's issues from EDS/Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder. Finding dance forms that were about contraction, vs extension and impact, plus the added benefit of endorphins have been life changing for her life quality. Over the decades physical therapy techniques acquired in seminars to support Ehlers Danlos and other disabilities have been added to her personal and professional practice to develop a unique view of what dance even is.

Dance and disability support are also Ziah's specialites as a Birthworker.
